The opportunity 

To support our expansion plans, we are currently hiring Junior Finance Officer to strengthen our team and embark on an exciting new journey with us.  The person will support the Shared Services Centre by taking ownership of operational, transactional and recurring finance activities across the group.

What you’ll be doing:

• Entering and processing customer invoices (recurring and time-and-materials).

• Matching customer receipts to invoices against bank statements (daily settlement).

• Preparing monthly Aging Receivables Reports for review.

• First-line follow-up on disputed and overdue receivables, escalating exceptions.

• Maintaining clean customer master data and invoicing records in the finance system.

• Processing supplier invoices and performing three-way matching (PO, GRN, invoice).

• Preparing weekly payment runs by supplier due date, ready for senior review and approval.

• Drafting routine journal entries for accruals, prepayments and amortization under supervision.

• Preparing bank reconciliations for all bank accounts each month.

• Supporting revenue and cost recognition entries within the documented close timetable.

What we expect from you:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience (graduates and recent finance interns will be considered).

• Solid working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, basic accounting principles and the transactional finance cycle (AR, AP, GL).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables) and comfortable with finance/ERP systems generally.

• Attention to detail high accuracy in data entry, reconciliations and number work; able to spot exceptions and errors.

• Strong written and spoken English.
