We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Investment Banking Analyst to join our team specializing in the Logistics & Transportation sector. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts and managers to provide financial analysis, conduct industry research, and support the execution of transactions within the logistics and transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting financial modeling and analysis for potential transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising activities within the logistics and transportation sectors.
Conduct industry research and market analysis to support transaction strategies and client presentations.
Prepare pitch materials, presentations, and confidential information memorandums (CIMs) for clients.
Assist in due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors.
Monitor and analyze financial trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the logistics and transportation industries.
Support senior team members in client meetings, negotiations, and communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industries.
Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes and valuation methodologies.
