Junior Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, and relational databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.


• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.


• Implement business logic using Core Java and object-oriented programming principles.


• Work with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security.


• Design and optimize SQL queries, database schemas, and data access layers.


• Integrate applications with internal and third-party APIs and services.


• Write unit, integration, and automated tests using JUnit/Mockito.


• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and improve performance.


• Participate in code reviews and follow coding and security best practices.


• Work closely with QA, DevOps, product, and other engineering teams.


• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production releases.


• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.


• Prepare and maintain technical and API documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.


• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.


• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.


• Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.


• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and Spring Data.


• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.


• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.


• Knowledge of JUnit and Mockito.


• Understanding of exception handling, multithreading/concurrency, collections, streams, and JVM fundamentals.


• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.


• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.


• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.


• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT.


• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger.


• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.


• Exposure to Redis or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
