Job Title: Junior Paralegal

Job Description: Well-established law firm in Brentwood seeks an experienced Junior Paralegal to join their team. The ideal Junior Paralegal possesses at least 2-3 years of litigation experience with a preference to Insurance Defense and handling tasks such as drafting legal documents, efiling, coordinating meetings, and communicating with insurance carriers and clients.

Job Duties:

- Draft, proofread, and redline pleadings, notices, court forms, and written discovery

- Maintain calendar for attorneys and keep track of court and other litigation deadlines

- E-filing on state and federal court level

- Update and maintain files via Coyote Analytics

- Regularly communicate with insurance carriers, clients, and attorneys for case status updates

- Schedule court appearances, depositions, hearings, and meetings for attorneys and vendors

- Assist with additional administrative duties such as handling incoming calls, mail, etc.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree OR Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred

- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred

- 2-3 years of litigation experience required, with a preference for Insurance Defense

- Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Google Drive, and Adobe Acrobat is required

- Salary Range between $58-70k
