Junior Product Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Engineer to join our team. This role will support the engineering and production process by assisting with product development, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to help deliver quality solutions that meet customer needs. 

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.  This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to innovative and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create solid models, drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), templates, and router files. 
• Assist other departments by answering engineering-related questions and providing technical support. 
• Interpret internal documentation including renderings, approval drawings, bid packages, and production books to support engineering solutions. 
• Support the production floor by assisting with work orders and diligently addressing issues as they arise.      
• Assess architectural plans, designer sketches, and renderings to interpret product requirements. 
• Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure project success and product accuracy. 
• Manage assigned work output with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines. 

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.  
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. 
• Familiarity with various wood, metal, and plastic materials and their applications is a plus. 
• Experience with CAD software and technical drawing creation preferred. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and architectural plans.
