The company was founded on a vision of delivering clean, managed “wireless energy” to meet the global need for reliable, low-cost solar power for street lighting, telecom, security, and IoT devices, as well as other mission-critical systems.

The company has recently completed a Series A investment led by Sallyport Holdings, who have billions of dollars worth of exits under their belt, and are actively involved, young, and ready to support high-growth technology companies like EngoPlanet. You’ll be standing shoulder to shoulder with industry makers and company builders.

Position
EnGoPlanet is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role is essential for managing and optimizing our purchasing and supply chain operations, ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services from global sources, including our office in Serbia. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in supply chain management, possess excellent negotiation skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.

What You Will Do
Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and prices.
Process purchase orders and review deliveries against orders.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Collaborate with other departments, including R&D and production, to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Maintain strong working relationships with our global suppliers, including those in Serbia.
Assist in the management of the supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of components.
Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures regarding purchasing and procurement ethics.

What You Will Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Proven working experience in purchasing or supply chain management is advantageous.
Strong understanding of supply chain management concepts.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a global, multicultural environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant purchasing management software.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Serbian or other languages is a plus due to the international nature of the supply chain.
