Junior QA Automation Engineer (USC's and GC's) W2

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior QA Automation Engineer to support automated testing initiatives for web, API, and cloud-based applications using modern testing frameworks.

Experience Required: 6 months – 2 years
Work Authorization: US Citizens and Green Card holders considered

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts

• Execute regression, smoke, and API tests

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines

• Identify, log, and track defects

• Validate data using SQL queries

Required Skills

• Automation Frameworks: Playwright or Cypress (preferred)

• Programming: JavaScript or Python

• API Testing: Postman / REST APIs

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps (basic exposure)

• Databases: SQL (mandatory)

• Testing Concepts: Shift-left testing, test data management
  

Education

• Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
