Junior Quantitative Analyst

Position Summary:

TransPerfect is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will support our data-driven decision-making process through rigorous quantitative analysis. Responsibilities:

• Perform quantitative analysis to support business decisions, utilizing statistical methods and data modeling techniques.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Assist in the development and implementation of analytical tools and processes.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quantitative analysis methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistical methods.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.

• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets and communicate findings clearly.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role or internship in quantitative analysis.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their applications.
