Junior Sales Representative

The Standard is a locally owned business aimed at creating memorable and profitable brand marketing campaigns for our clients in the Kansas City area. Our tailored, hands-on approach, coupled with our team's diverse backgrounds, has been the catalyst of our success.

Currently, The Standard has a full-time Junior Sales Trainee position available. The Junior Sales Trainee will be based out of our office in Overland Park, KS. We believe in providing everyone with an opportunity to learn, expand their professional skills, and have fun doing it! We are looking for a Junior Sales Trainee to support our Senior Sales Managers oversee the successful completion of our client's customer outreach initiatives in the local area.

Junior Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Execute promotional outreach campaigns with fellow Junior Sales Representatives to aid in developing an engaging brand identity and larger customer base
• Create excitement around our clients' brands with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Give quick presentations to potential customers with the goal of promoting our clients brand and increasing profit margins
• Track and manage all customer questions and concerns
• Suggest ways to expand our client's potential outreach in the local market
• Stay in compliance with all company and client standards
• Follow all of our client and company guidelines
• Work with fellow Junior Sales Trainees to oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned territory

Junior Sales Representative Preferred Skills:

• Background in the hospitality, customer service or service industry is preferred
• The ability to problem solve and think critically is a must
• Experience in client or brand management
• Comfortable with presenting to both large and small groups people
• Extremely effective communication skills and a natural ability to connect witty people
• A strong desire to work in marketing, business development or brand management
• A passion for helping others and giving back to the community

Junior Sales Representative Requirements

• Must be able to work in-office and at our events
