Job Description - Junior Security Specialist (TS/SCI Clearance)

This position is part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Junior Security Specialist
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.

The Junior Security Specialist supports physical and personnel security operations, ensuring that classified information and facilities are protected according to government policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personnel security clearances and visit request processing.
Support monitoring and tracking of classified materials and secure spaces.
Conduct routine physical security checks and report discrepancies.
Maintain security files, logs, and access rosters.
Support the coordination of security briefings and debriefings.
Assist with incident documentation and access control violations.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of experience in a security support role.
Knowledge of DoD and IC physical and personnel security policies.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
