Job Description - Junior Service Advisor



Junior Service Advisor


Compensation: $ 18.00/ hour

Key Responsibilities



  • Greeting customers promptly and courteously, ensuring every guest receives 100% attention and respect.

  • Communicate with customers to keep them informed on the status of their vehicles.

  • Secure customer approval for repairs, review cost estimates, and provide completion timeframes.

  • Collect and verify customer and vehicle information; confirm method of payment.

  • Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations.

  • Ensure all repair orders are accurately documented and processed.

  • Schedule service appointments and handle inbound service calls professionally.

  • Assist team members and support day-to-day service operations.

  • Help keep facility clean and organized.

  • Build genuine, lasting relationships with guests through exceptional service.

  • Follow all dealership and factory safety policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.



Qualifications



  • Proven experience in guest service or customer-facing roles—automotive experience a plus.



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional grammar.



  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Receptive to feedback, coaching, and ongoing development.

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.



Physical Requirements



  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, talking, and hearing.

  • Occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Dependable attendance for all-scheduled shifts.
