Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual looking to kickstart your career in accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Staff Accountant to join our client's team on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent role based on performance. This position will offer hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and general accounting functions.

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Prepare and input journal entries into the general ledger system.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Help in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 - $24.00
