Junior Structural Engineer

We are Recruiting on Purpose a Junior Structural Engineer to join our client’s growing Design-Build team in downtown Atlanta. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural calculations and design work related to the restoration of steel and concrete structures.
• Support senior engineers and project managers in executing structural engineering tasks.
• Assist with field investigations and condition assessments for structural systems.
• Participate in corrosion protection programs and related engineering efforts.
• Contribute to project documentation, technical reports, and design plans.
• Occasionally travel overnight and work varied hours, including exposure to outdoor elements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with a structural emphasis (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and testing of steel, concrete, and soils.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam; current EIT certification.
• Ability and commitment to sit for the PE or SE exam in Georgia within 18 months of hire.
• Willingness to participate in corrosion protection and structural rehabilitation programs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to structural restoration or rehabilitation design in a design-build environment.
• Interest in long-term professional development within the structural engineering field.
