Junior Swim Coach

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct age-appropriate swim practices for beginner youth swimmers.
• Teach and reinforce proper stroke technique, starts, turns, and finishes.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for children of all skill levels.
• Organize and coach at intra-club swim meets, team events, and exhibitions.
• Provide regular feedback to swimmers and communicate progress with parents.
• Work collaboratively with the Aquatics Director to plan season goals, training plans, and team activities.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a high level of supervision.
• Serve as a role model for sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior.
• Assist with organizing team gear, awards, and end-of-season celebrations.
