As a Junior Systems Data Analyst/Scientist Intern, you will work closely with our operations team to analyze data and work on coding solutions around systems data. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analysis, designing solutions, software development/testing methodologies, and collaboration within a professional operations/engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with on-call engineers to design and implement systems data solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of software documentation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Participated in or led a hackathon
- Have worked in ie. robotics team
- Can think in terms of workflow or data ecosystems, enjoys puzzles
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and data analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Program Details:
- $21.00/hour
- Program Dates: June 3rd – August 9th
- Fridays off!
