Position Summary:

Our client is hiring a Junior Technician to join their Technical & Service Team. This hands-on position involves repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

  1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flex hours available between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

  On-site in Middletown, KY, with occasional travel possible.

  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Inspect, troubleshoot, and clean machinery and equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Repair or replace worn-out parts such as gears, bearings, and motors.

  
  


• 
  

  Disassemble and reassemble machines, ensuring proper alignment and function.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain detailed service records of repairs, parts used, and related work.

  
  


• 
  

  Support a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.

  
  


• 
  

  Occasionally paint, polish, or finish equipment surfaces.

  
  


• 
  

  Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on mechanical experience required; exposure to industrial machinery a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Electrical systems and pneumatic experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous machine refurbishing, maintenance, or industrial repair experience is helpful.

  
  


• 
  

  Forklift certification and/or bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and on a team.
