Job Description - Junk and Route Sales Associate

About Us: At 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, we're a fast-paced and fun operation that helps people in our community get rid of unwanted items responsibly. We do it like no one else with our professional, on-time service and friendly uniformed team.


We're hiring ambitious, outgoing and active individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer experiences


Pay Range: $12.00/hr - $26.00/hr+ (Total Compensation)



  • Base hourly rate

  • Tips

  • Profit share & performance incentives

  • Overtime


Schedule: Full-time: 4–5 shifts per week



  • 1 mandatory weekend shift

  • 3–4 weekday shifts

  • Shifts run 8–10 hours and may fall anywhere between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM, depending on business
    needs

  • Must maintain availability for 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day every week

Role Overview: As a Field Sales & Service Representative, you’ll bring energy, professionalism, and salesmanship to every job. 



  • Create WOW moments through outstanding customer service

  • Lead pricing conversations, close on-site sales, and deliver clear estimates

  • Remove junk safely from homes and businesses

  • Drive, navigate, and operate box trucks (training provided)

  • Lift, carry, load, and maneuver items up to 75 lbs

  • Represent our brand with integrity, professionalism, and a sharp appearance


No prior junk removal experience required — Participate in daily recorded role-play scenarios to
support ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement - we train you.


Uniform Standards: Maintained anytime you’re at the office — on or off the clock:



  • Brown Belt

  • Brown Steel-Toe Boots

  • Branded Polo (Provided)

  • Branded Ball Cap or Beanie (Provided)

  • Sweatshirt (Provided)

  • Navy BLUE work pants or shorts


Company-Wide Standards (Required for All Roles):
DOT Medical Certification



  • A valid DOT Medical Card is required for driving commercial vehicles.

  • Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining your DOT Medical Certification.
