K-5 Reading Tutor / In-Person

Summer Program

As a Tutor with Braintrust Tutors, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality reading and math interventions. Your role will involve working with students individually or in small groups (1:4) during school hours. You will receive onboarding and materials to effectively implement our intervention programs, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.

Summer Program Details: 

• Grades K-2


• Reading/Literacy


• Days: 6/16-6/18, 6/20, 6/23-27th


• Hours: TBD, but up to 7.5 hours per day


• Must be available to work all days due to the shortness of the program

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group tutoring in reading K-5th grade students.


• Implement our intervention programs according to the provided guidelines.
  


• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.


• Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress using our reporting platform.


• Communicate regularly with our Operations team and school staff to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.


• Two years of teaching/tutoring experience with school-aged children.


• Active or Expired Teaching License.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.


• Punctual
