A warm, active, and structured family in Rye, NY is seeking a reliable, engaging, and experienced full-time nanny to support their three children, ages 9, 8, and 5. This role is centered around managing the children’s daily routines, after-school activities, and overall household organization related to the children.

The family values structure, independence, and a proactive approach. They are looking for a nanny who can take full ownership of the role, anticipate needs, and confidently manage the children’s schedules while creating a positive, engaging environment. The ideal candidate is organized, calm, playful with the children, and professional with the parents—someone who can seamlessly integrate into a busy household and help make daily life run more smoothly. Both parents are highly involved in their children’s lives and also maintain busy professional schedules. 

Start Date: Flexible

Schedule:
● 32.5 hours, Monday–Friday, set up as a split shift
● Core schedule includes:
    - Morning: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM (approximate, some flexibility)
    - Afternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
● Flexibility to cover school holidays and sick days with a more full-time schedule
● Summer schedule may shift slightly (15–30 minutes for AM shift)
● Open to candidates who may have additional work outside these hours, as long as this role remains their primary commitment and they can remain flexible

● Full-scope childcare for three school-aged children
● Managing morning routines and ensuring children are prepared for school and bus departure
● Afternoon school pickup and transportation to activities
● Coordinating and managing after-school schedules, including sports and extracurriculars
● Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children
● Following simple recipes and maintaining balanced meals
● Assisting with homework
● Engaging children in age-appropriate activities, including reading, outdoor play, and creative play
● Supporting children’s social and emotional development while respecting individual personalities
● Managing children’s laundry, backpacks, lunch prep, and daily organization
● Keeping children’s areas tidy and organized
● Maintaining a running grocery list for children’s items
● Keeping the nanny car clean and organized
● Light household support related to the children (dishwasher, tidying kitchen, trash as needed)
● Utilizing and following the family handbook and established household systems

● Experience as a professional nanny with school-aged children
● Ability to effectively communicate immediate issues, updates, and needs with parents
● Highly organized and proactive with the ability to take full ownership of the role
● Comfortable managing multiple children with busy schedules
● Confident driver with experience transporting children
● Ability to balance structure with a fun, engaging approach
● Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and following recipes

● Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
● Comfortable driving children
● Non-smoker
● Comfortable swimming and supervising children in a pool setting
● Ability to manage a split schedule
● Open to occasional travel (optional, not required)

● $59,150–$62,530 ($35–$37/hr)
● 2 weeks PTO annually (1 week chosen by family, 1 week by nanny)
