KCOM - LPN, CNA, CMA, or RN

Description

A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a LPN, CNA, CMA, or RN on the Kirksville, MO campus. 

Duties and responsibilities include

• Be able to work as clinic nurse rooming patients.
• Taking vitals.
• Documenting patient complaints.
• Helping physicians with procedures.
• Properly refill medications as directed by the physician(s).
• Scheduling appointments.
• Scheduling procedures at local and outside facilities.
• Making specialty care referral appointments for patients.
• Giving injections as ordered by the physician(s).
• Drawing labs ordered by the physician and completing paperwork associated with this position.
• Calling patients with results from testing/procedures that had been ordered/completed.
• Help with scheduled and non-scheduled nurse visits.
• Help other co-workers and fill in where needed.

Requirements

•  MA/CNA/LPN/RN.
•  Experience with EMR, phlebotomy.
• Compassionate with excellent communication skills. 
•  Work in a fast paced outpatient clinic environment with patient first attitude. 
•  Work on feet.
