K-Dans Orangefield - Deli Team Member (Lead)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Deli Team Member with grill and fry cook experience to join our fast-paced deli operation. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think quickly during peak service times. Team members will assist with food preparation, cooking, stocking, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations while ensuring customers are well taken care of.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food items using grill, fryer, and other deli equipment


• Assist with food prep, including chopping, portioning, and staging items for service


• Maintain steam table presentation, food levels, and food quality standards


• Help guide and support coworkers to keep service running efficiently and on schedule


• Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner


• Delegate and organize workload among team members based on abilities and experience


• Provide friendly, efficient customer service during all shifts, especially peak times


• Stock products, rotate inventory, and put away deliveries


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation standards


• Learn and perform opening and closing duties as assigned


• Think and react quickly during high-volume periods to keep operations flowing smoothly

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior deli, grill, or fry cook experience preferred


• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities


• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment


• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to help guide coworkers when needed


• Good communication skills and attention to detail


• Willingness to learn new tasks and take direction

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs


• Ability to stand and be on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift


• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift

• Shifts may vary based on business needs


• Must be available to work peak service hours as scheduled
