Job Title: Dog Handler - Kennel Attendant 

Job Summary:
The Dog Handler is responsible for the safe and attentive care of dogs in our facility. This
includes assisting with daycare, boarding, and bathing services, as well as maintaining a
clean and sanitary environment for all animals. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and passionate about animal care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely escort dogs to and from daycare, boarding, and bathing areas.
• Return dogs to their owners at pickup and provide updates on the pet’s day.
• Clean and sanitize all boarding rooms and Dens daily, including:
o Vacuuming and mopping floors
o Wiping down walls, glass, and other surfaces
o Replacing dirty bedding and water
• Deep clean rooms after dogs are checked out.
• Complete daily facility cleaning tasks such as:
o Mopping floors and maintaining mop buckets
o Doing laundry and dishes
o Checking and refilling water bowls
o Performing poop patrol in front of building
• Conduct playgroup rotations every 3 hours and monitor dog interactions closely for
safety.
• Create daily report cards and take pictures for dogs in daycare or boarding.
• Feed dogs and accurately track their food intake.
• Carry out any additional cleaning or facility tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working with dogs preferred, but not required
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Pay: $18-$19

Hours: Five 8-Hour shifts

Available Weekends and Holidays
