Kennel Worker - Get Hired Fast

Busy boarding facility is seeking a highly motivated kennel assistant. Applicant must be willing to work very closely with cats and dogs, as well as be comfortable working with birds and other small exotic mammals. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, should be able to lift at least 30 pounds and be able to spend a lot of time on his/her feet, and be willing to work inside and outside in any kind of weather. Most importantly, the applicant should have a basic understanding of pet care and be willing to provide top-notch care to our boarding patients. We understand the special role pets play in every family and are dedicated partners in their care. We are looking for team members that share our compassionate and caring attitude

Basic duties include: feeding and medicating boarding pets, cleaning pet cages and exercise yards, supervising doggy daycare and exercise sessions, bathing pets, trimming nails, restraining pets for medical services, assisting the veterinarian or technician with patient care, laundry, and general cleaning of the hospital.

Grafton is a 2 doctor, small animal practice and offers veterinary care to dogs and cats, as well as birds, reptiles, and small exotic mammals. We have a large boarding facility for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, as well as professional pet grooming and doggy daycare.
