Job Description - Key Account Manager Financial Data

We’re looking for a Key Account Manager to own and strengthen relationships with our clients - leading hedge funds and asset managers who rely on our insights into 67 publicly traded companies. You’ll ensure they fully understand the value of our data, renew their subscriptions, and expand their usage.

Your success will be measured by:

 ✅ Renewals – Keeping clients engaged and securing renewals
 ✅ Upsells – Expanding client subscriptions across our ticker universe
 ✅ Trial Conversions – Helping prospects see the value in our data and convert to paying clients
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert – Deeply understand our reports and help clients integrate our data into their investment process.
  • Drive Engagement & Adoption – Ensure clients actively use our insights, stay informed about new tickers, and share feedback on desired features.
  • Expand Coverage & Upsell – Identify overlaps in client holdings, highlight top-performing tickers, and encourage broader adoption.
  • Assist Prospects During Trials – Understand how different clients trial our data and provide the right level of support. Ensure prospects don’t waste time on complex data mapping or ingestion—have tools and scripts ready to help them access and test the data efficiently.
  • Gather Product Feedback – Capture client input on feature requests (e.g., API access, consensus analysis, delivery frequency).
  • Proactively Connect with Clients – Regularly engage via email, calls, roadshows, and industry events.

You’ll collaborate closely with:
  • Data Analysts – The team behind our insights
  • Engineering – Helping shape product development and improving trial processes
  • Financial Analysts – Enhancing how we showcase data value
  • Sales Team – Supporting trials and conversions

  • 2+ years of experience in client-facing roles (account management, client services, consultancy)
  • Finance, business, or related background (undergrad or master’s preferred)
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to simplify complex data for clients
  • Analytical mindset – Understanding and explaining insights, not just presenting them
  • Proactive and commercially aware – Comfortable driving conversations around adoption and expansion
  • Willingness to travel – Meet clients and attend industry events
