Keyholder

The keyholder is responsible for salesfloor supervision in the afternoon or morning hours. They assist cashiers with any issues or change needs, count the drawers, and open and lock up the store. Customer service is Ace's #1 priority, and the #1 responsibility of all team members. The ideal candidate has some hardware knowledge or is able to learn on the job, and is ready to take the responsibility of closing and/or opening the store 4-5 days/week.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for closing and/or opening the store. 

• Oversee all cashiering functions. 

• Supervise the “general operations” of the sales floor.  

• Lead by example; be approachable by all staff and customers.   

• Assist with daily maintenance and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise areas. 

• Assist in presenting a clean and orderly sales floor. 

• Proactively assist customers in resolving problems and complaints. 

• Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as staff. 

• Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously and effectively. 

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Hardware experience a plus
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs
