Keyholder/Store Associate

What You’ll Do

As a Keyholder/Store Associate, you help keep our Gonzales store running smoothly so more neighbors can be served with dignity. You’ll support daily store operations, provide friendly service at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, cash handling, assisting customers, stocking and rotating merchandise, pricing/tagging items, and following safety and loss-prevention practices.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Reliable, mission-minded approach and strong integrity
- Comfort working a flexible schedule, including some evenings/weekends
- Basic math and cash-handling accuracy
- Clear communication and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift typical retail loads

A Typical Shift

You’ll start by getting the store ready for customers—lights on, tills set, and the floor looking welcoming. Throughout the day you’ll move between the front end and the sales floor, answering questions, helping shoppers find what they need, and keeping things neat as traffic changes. During quieter moments, you’ll reset displays, check signage, and coordinate with teammates on what needs attention next. If you’re closing, you’ll finish with a final walkthrough and secure the store so the next day begins smoothly.
