Compensation: Based on experience and certification level

We’re looking for an experienced and certified Kia Master Technician to join our award-winning service team at Oakes Auto Group. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in their craftsmanship, continuous learning, and commitment to excellence.

As a Kia Master Tech, you’ll serve as a leader within the shop—diagnosing complex issues, guiding other technicians, and ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

What You’ll Do

• 
  

  Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles using manufacturer-approved tools and processes

  
  


• 
  

  Lead by example and support the development of other service technicians

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure all repairs meet or exceed Kia and Oakes Auto Group quality standards

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate clearly with Service Advisors and management

  
  


• 
  

  Stay up to date on Kia’s latest technology, training, and service procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with shop organization, workflow efficiency, and continuous process improvement

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 
  

  Kia Master Certified Technician (must have completed all classroom and virtual learning requirements)

  
  


• 
  

  Employed by a Kia dealership for at least three consecutive years

  
  


• 
  

  Proven expertise in electrical, engine, drivability, and transmission diagnostics

  
  


• 
  

  High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Professional attitude, reliability, and leadership mindset
