Job Description - Kids Club


Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager
Status: Non-Exempt


JOB SUMMARY
The Kid’s Club employees main responsibility is to observe,monitor and
 interact with all children that are in the Kid’s Club area at all
times to ensure they have a great experience in our facility.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greets, introduces and welcomes all children into the Kid’s Club area
• Delivers a welcoming smile to all members and their children
• Checks in all children to ensure they all have a proper Kid’s Club membership
• Ensures the safety of the children by being aware of surroundings
• Follows company policy by requiring that all parents sign the Kid’s Club waiver form for any children using
the Kid’s Club
• Nurtures and cares for children while parents are working out in our gym facilities
• Reads, plays, draws, and interacts with children from 6 weeks of age to 12 years old
• Organizes activities that stimulate children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth
• Sterilizes toys and equipment on a regular bases
• Ensures all toys are safe and operational within the Kid’s Club
• Maintains a safe environment by following established security procedures
• Guarantees a clean environment by performing janitorial duties when needed
• Reports bad behavior and any sort of accident to Operations Managers and parents daily
• Keeps all appropriate records of attendance and time sheets
• Notifies parents immediately when a child needs a diaper changed
• Engages and supports necessary disciplinary action for any child who needs behavioral re-direction
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Has the ability to initiate conversations with children and co-workers
• Friendly, and energetic personality
• Patience and tolerance with all children is required
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Child Care experience is preferred
• CPR/AED & First Aid certifications (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Must attend the Company’s “I am Brand” Workshop within 90 days of hire
• Must attend the Company’s “SLII” Workshop within 90 days of hire
