University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kinnser Home Care Intake Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves managing intake processes efficiently to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to facilitate smooth client admissions and care coordination. This is a 9-5 position, and you must have Kinnser home care experience at a home care office. We are looking for a very experienced person for our office. Open interviews are held Monday to Friday from 11am to 4:30pm at 11585 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48168.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake process for home care clients using the Kinnser software system.


• Coordinate with healthcare providers, clients, and family members to gather required information and documentation.


• Verify patient eligibility and insurance information.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the system.


• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of care services.


• Assist with scheduling and coordinating initial home visits.


• Identify and address potential issues to ensure a smooth intake process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in home care intake, preferably using Kinnser software.


• Strong knowledge of home care industry regulations and patient intake procedures.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Proficiency with computer and data entry tasks.
