Description
Are you passionate about working with children and families? We are seeking a full-time Kinship Recruitment Manager to join our team. If you have a master’s degree in the field of human services or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience in the child and family services field, we want to hear from you!
About the Role
Directly oversees the agency regional kinship foster care family recruitment process, pursuant to the goals and objectives established by the Agency board of directors and executive team.
Responsibilities:
Monitors and tracks the recruitment and development of kinship foster homes in compliance with state regulation standards.
Works in concert with Foster Home Developer, Preparation Specialists, and the Recruitment Specialists to ensure the maximum number of applicants complete the process to become approved foster homes.
Works with kinship families to understand and complete the licensing process to become an approved foster home. Enrolls applicants in training with assistance from Foster Home Developer.
When required, assist staff and families with required paperwork once applicants complete required training.
Available as a resource to applicants for questions and/or concerns during any phase of the process.
Accomplishes follow-up actions (phone/mail) on applicants whose paperwork has not been received if the Foster Home Developer needs assistance and is unavailable.
Types and organizes routine correspondence. Complies, verifies, and forwards statistical reports. Answer the phone and give information to callers regarding the agency’s recruitment practices.
Greets staff, foster parents, and potential foster and adoptive parents at any agency recruitment event or function.
Will be required to travel in order to attend meetings, training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business. Not required to transport clients.
