Position Overview:
The Kitchen & Support Specialist plays a key part in keeping our school running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, being part of a team, and supporting both behind-the-scenes and in-classroom needs. This is not an administrative role, but a hands-on support position working directly with teachers, children, and families.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and organizing daily snacks (no cooking required)
- Managing kitchen supplies and snack inventory
- Assisting in classrooms when extra support is needed
- Helping with bathroom breaks and transitions throughout the day
- Driving the school bus for after-school pick-up (must meet driving requirements)

Qualifications
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Meets background check eligibility
- Must be at least 25 years old (per insurance requirements for bus driving)
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
