Full-time position 

Monday through Friday 8:00a – 4:30p  with some flexibility

Essential Functions:

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food under the supervision of the Food Service Manager
• Stocking and organizing food and supplies
• Helping take inventory of foods and supplies
• Responsible for following all YMCA, state and federal guidelines, laws and regulations around kitchen, sanitary and food preparation procedures
• Responsible for the washing of dishes and the cleaning and care of the kitchen and equipment
• Cleans kitchen facility in accordance to state and city guidance

Qualifications:

• Prior experience preparing and serving food of a large quantity (200 + meals served daily) preferred
• Ability to read, interpret and follow all YMCA, local and federal regulations and best practices pertaining to the assigned area and associated services
• Strong organization and project management skills
