Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of fresh ingredients for daily menu items
• Cook authentic Mexican tacos and sides in accordance with Rusty Taco standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation
• Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures

• Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or cooking environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for cooking and dedication to preparing quality food
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
