About the Role:

As a Supervisor, you’ll oversee a team of technicians responsible for cleaning kitchen grease exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans), ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to NYC Fire Code standards. You’ll lead onsite operations, train team members, maintain quality control, and act as the primary point of contact for clients during jobs.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead on-site kitchen hood cleaning crews


• Perform and oversee power washing of exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans)


• Train new hires and ensure all team members follow safety and compliance protocols


• Drive company vehicle to job sites and manage equipment logistics


• Communicate with clients and ensure high-quality customer service


• Document work performed using digital tools and report job completion


• Perform hands-on cleaning as needed


• Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and professional standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Minimum 5 years of experience in hood/exhaust cleaning


• COF credential (required) and strong understanding of NYC Fire Code compliance


• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record


• Must be 21+ and pass background check and E-Verify


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work various shifts (overnights, weekends, holidays)


• HVAC, mechanical, or equipment repair experience (preferred)


• Ability to train, manage, and motivate crew members


• Tech-savvy with ability to document work and use mobile apps for reporting
