The role:

The Overnight Supervisor is a maintenance team member playing a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our food warehouse and fulfillment center. This position is responsible for overnight supervision of our coolers, being a critical decision maker and communicator throughout the night, escalating and solving issues as they arise. 

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision:

• Ensuring that vendors like the overnight janitorial company have an onsite person of contact.


• Checking / Verifying that the kitchen and facilities are cleaned properly after hours.


• Continuously verifying and reporting refrigeration temperatures throughout the night.

Routine Inspections:

• Perform routine inspections and calibrations of commercial kitchen equipment, warehouse systems, and facilities.


• Document all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.


• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unexpected breakdowns.

Safety & Compliance:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.


• Proactively identify and address potential hazards or equipment failures.

Miscellaneous Duties:

• Perform miscellaneous tasks and duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, or facility operations, preferably in a food production, warehouse, or fulfillment environment.


• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Willingness to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.


• Comfortable working in varied environments (e.g., cold storage, elevated surfaces).
