Kitchen Manager

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager with a strong background in hospitality or front of the house experience to lead our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for exceptional food, outstanding service, and enjoys engaging with guests. Catering experience is highly preferred, and a key part of this role will include contributing to sales growth through quality, consistency, and strong team leadership. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. 
• Manage and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment. 
• Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure smooth service and strong communication. 
• Interact with guests when appropriate to reinforce hospitality and address feedback. 
• Work with the management team to develop and grow catering and in-house sales opportunities. 
• Maintain inventory control, manage food costs, and oversee ordering and vendor relationships. 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. 
• Assist in menu planning and innovation, considering trends and customer preferences. 
• Monitor kitchen labor and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

Compensation and Benefits:

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role. 
• Strong hospitality background with a genuine love for guest interaction. 
• Proven experience in catering or off-site event execution is highly desirable. 
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. 
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and inventory management. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
