We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and is ready to make an impact through teamwork, organization, and a dedication to excellence.

Position Overview

The Kitchen Manager oversees all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, staff performance, and cost control. This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient, motivated kitchen team and supporting the overall success of the restaurant.

What You’ll Do

• Staff Leadership & Development
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement training programs for new hires and continuing development.
• Manage schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor labor costs for operational efficiency.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.

Food Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Enforce cleaning and maintenance procedures throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

Inventory & Cost Management

• Manage ordering, receiving, and storage of all kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Track inventory usage, control stock levels, and minimize waste.
• Maintain food cost goals through effective forecasting and purchasing practices.

Additional Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and production to ensure timely service.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Participate in hiring decisions, budgeting, and operational planning with leadership.
• Partner with management to continuously improve kitchen systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience managing inventory, labor, and cost control systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• Culinary background or equivalent experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week; schedule flexibility required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Exposure to heat, cold, and standard commercial kitchen equipment.
