Key features include an in-house rotisserie with beef, chicken, and cauliflower, along with salads, sandwiches, and sides like sticky brussels sprouts. The Kitchen Manager position requires an experienced, organized leader to oversee meal planning and kitchen operations, fostering a collaborative and safe environment with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Making periodic and regular inspections of units to observe the quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment, and employee appearance
  • Coordinating all training activities for kitchen and other production and service employees to include the identification and analysis of training needs and the design and implementation of programs to address these deficiencies
  • Developing recipes and portion specifications in accordance with consumer tastes, nutritional needs, product specifications, ease of preparation, and established procedures and budgetary constraints
  • Participating in other menu planning activities including the determination of purchasing specifications, product, and recipe testing, and menu development
  • Preparing operational reports and analyses setting forth progress, and adverse trends and making appropriate recommendations
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

What You’ll Bring: 

  • At least four years of progressive experience in high volume food production or catering
  • Extensive experience in professional kitchens, preferably in elevated high-volume establishments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

  • Manual Dexterity: Use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Mobility: Often required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Environmental Exposure: Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold in a kitchen environment.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision: Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment: Noise level is usually moderate.
