Olympia Sports Bar and Grill located on Pioneer Parkway in Peoria IL, is where authentic greek cuisine meets casual American dining. We offer a fast casual sports bar themed menu with a Mediterranean twist. Fun fast paced environment.
Schedule: Full-Time (45-50 hours per week)
Salary: $55,000 per year with with additional quarterly bonuses available
Role: You are an outstanding manager with significant culinary experience who will supervise the daily kitchen operations of our restaurant. As the Kitchen Manager, you will demonstrate a hands-on approach to management and safety, ensuring our kitchen team adheres to the highest standards of quality. You will be expected to effectively run the line and oversee expo during lunch and dinner service while delivering exceptional plates.
Duties:
A positive leader with excellent communication skills- Knowledgeable of all kitchen operations
- Supervise food prep and cooking
- Supervise, coach, and motivate all kitchen employees
- Maintain high-performance standards
- Train employees and manage schedules
- Keep weekly and monthly cost reports
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- Minimum two years experience in a professional kitchen
- Follow all predetermined recipes and procedures to the letter
- Coordinate with ownership and head Chef in seasonal and weekly menu features
