Prepare and cook daily meals in accordance with Riverview’s menu plans and nutritional requirements.
Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served according to USDA, DHEC, HACCP, and ServSafe guidelines.
Assist the Chef Lisa in coordinating any and all daily kitchen operations.
Serve students and staff efficiently and courteously during meal service.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking quality, rotating stock, and reducing food waste.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen environment by following established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and report repair needs promptly.
Supports Chef Lisa in training other staff on food safety and cleanliness standards.
Foster positive student and staff interactions, modeling Riverview’s mission and values.
Assist in preparation and service for special events (e.g., family nights, field days, staff luncheons).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef Lisa or School Leadership.
