Kitchen Prep

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Prep at our [INSERT UNIVERSITY NAME AND LOCATION] location to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support chefs and cooks in various kitchen tasks as needed.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock.
• Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
