Experienced Kitchen Staff – Saddleback BBQ at Coach’s

Location: Coach’s Pub & Grill – Lansing, MI
Pay: $14–$15/hr (No tip sharing at this location)
Schedule: Open availability preferred, especially nights & weekends

Saddleback BBQ is Lansing’s premier destination for authentic Southern-style BBQ with a Midwestern twist. Since 2015, we’ve been committed to craft, quality, and community—smoking all meats in-house with locally sourced hardwoods. Our Coach’s location upholds this same standard, offering a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen that’s known for delivering exceptional food and service.

About the Role:

We’re looking for strong, dependable kitchen professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in both corporate and independent kitchens, and be hungry to work on a high-performing team. If you bring the right experience and a positive attitude, there are plenty of opportunities to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

Execute food prep and cooking to company standards

Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume service

Uphold food safety and sanitation procedures

Take direction well and support kitchen leadership

Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and organized

Bring a team-first mindset and high energy every shift

What We’re Looking For:

3–5 years of kitchen experience preferred

Background in both fast-paced corporate & independent restaurants

Open availability (daytime, evenings, weekends)

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-functioning team

We will consider highly motivated applicants with less experience who demonstrate a strong desire to learn.
