Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Event Cook to join our culinary team. The Event Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals for various events, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation while adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to event menus, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Banquet Chef and kitchen staff to design and execute customized menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Set-Up and Presentation: Set up food stations for events, ensuring an appealing presentation and proper temperature maintenance for all dishes.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adaptability: Be flexible in adapting recipes and cooking methods to accommodate specific client requests or changing event needs.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during events, including communication regarding food prep and timing.

 Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant, catering, or event setting preferred.
• Ability to work morning shifts and weekends as needed.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Food safety certification is a plus.
