Hummus Republic is a newer fast-casual restaurant concept that started in Southern California and is quickly expanding throughout the country. The Scottsdale Hummus Republic is the first Hummus Republic in Arizona. Our concept is similar to Chipotle and CAVA, and we serve fresh and healthy Mediterranean food such as hummus, pita chips, pitas, wraps and bowls. We need warm, friendly and outgoing people who like to work hard and stay busy. We'll provide all the training you need to be successful!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll support the team by prepping food and keeping the kitchen and food storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Prepare recipes.
- Assist with grilling and frying.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment and other areas of the restaurant.
- Maintain food par levels and proper stocking and organization of food storage areas.
- Ensure cleanliness of line, prep area, dishwashing area, and storage areas.
- Ensure that garbage and recycling are disposed of properly.
- Support the team with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
