As a Kitchen Technician, you’ll help make a difference by supporting our mission through reliable, safe meal service for neighbors in need. This full-time, onsite role keeps our kitchen running smoothly so guests, volunteers, and staff are served with dignity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and service support
- Store and label food properly; manage stock and rotate inventory
- Maintain kitchen, dining, and storage cleanliness per sanitation standards
- Follow health department regulations and food safety practices
- Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment safely
Required qualifications/skills:
- High School Diploma preferred
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- 1 year cooking experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in temperature extremes
- Respect and support of the teaching and traditions of the Catholic Church and St. Vincent de Paul

You’ll rotate through weekly assignments, moving between prep, storage areas, and the dining room as needs change.
