About the Role:
The Kitchen/Casual Helper supports daily kitchen operations and maintains a clean, safe dining environment. This role includes food prep, meal service, dishwashing, cleaning, inventory support, and delivering meals to homebound seniors through the Senior Services Department. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation (chopping, slicing, basic prep)
  • Serve meals and support cooks as needed
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen/dining areas
  • Store deliveries and monitor supplies
  • Deliver meals to approved homebound participants
  • Lift and move up to 50 lbs and assist with dining room setup/cleaning
Core Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess ServSafe Certification or obtain certification within one (1) year from date of hire in this position.
  • Must possess certification of “Mandatory Reporter Training” or obtain certification during the first week of employment.
  • Ability to work odd and irregular hours, as needed
  • Must successfully pass the required criminal and character background check.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record according to Tribal insurance guidelines
  • Ability to travel and participate in required training, leadership development, and other events.
  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of this position adequately and successfully
