About the Job We have an immediate need for a Kitting Associate. The primary responsibility for this position will be to accurately and efficiently assemble work orders for the Production Team. As a member of the warehouse team, this position will also be expected to cross train in other areas of the warehouse, including receiving and shipping, in order to assist when necessary.
The Work This Position will build Kits (Bill of Materials) for production. It requires the person to pick and handle sensitive and delicate electronic parts efficiently. This position requires the Kit Selector to adhere to electronics handling guidelines and accurately record Serial Numbers. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and hard working to fill this role.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of warehousing experience
3+ years of fulfilling bill of material and shipping orders
2+ years of receiving experience
Minimum Qualifications
Education: high school diploma
2 years of Warehousing Experience
Experience assembling kits for customer use
Experience fulfilling bill of materials and shipping orders
Ability to support receiving function
Experience in small parts warehouse
Strict compliance with all safety rules and policies
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Products and Inventory Control System
Ability to operate forklifts and JLG lifts
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
