2nd Shift: $19.37 + $0.25 shift premium

What You’ll Do

As a Work Leader in our Knock Out / Cut Off Department, you’ll play an essential role in removing ceramic material from castings while ensuring the integrity and quality of every part. You’ll also support the productivity of your team and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Wearing and enforcing the use of proper PPE (safety glasses, earmuffs, face shields, gloves, steel-toe shoes, etc.)
• Promoting safety awareness, especially around hazardous materials like acetylene
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Checking MPCs daily for updates or changes
• Training employees on correct use of time sheets, routing sheets, SOPs, and other required documentation
• Using tools such as:
• Jack hammer
• Air pressure systems
• Cutting torch
• Swing arm saw
• Table saw
• Ensuring parts are processed without cracking or damage
• Reporting concerns or improvement ideas to your supervisor
• Following TS-16979, ISO 14001, AS9100 standards and procedures
• Participating in continuous improvement (AVO’s, CAR’s, ECR’s, brainstorming sessions, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications

• Detail-oriented
• A strong communicator
• Experienced in a manufacturing or factory setting (preferred)
• Able to follow work instructions accurately
• Safety-minded, with awareness of hazardous materials
• A high school graduate (or equivalent)
