Knox Redirections Master's Level Clinician

Duties:

The ReDirections Master's Level Clinician is responsible for administering and overseeing all clinical and therapeutic functions of ADT outpatient program.
Job duties include, but are not limited to facilitating IOP groups, completing psychosocial assessments, providing individual/family therapy, case management, lead family nights.
Complete all diagnosis assessments, treatment plans and discharge plans.
Complete and track all insurance information.
Submit all documentation within acceptable Center timeframes.
The position interfaces with agencies to increase cooperation and consistency between home, school, and community.
Embraces the key values and principles of the Re-Ed Philosophy.
Due to the diversity of job responsibilities, this position requires flexibility in scheduling.
This position requires an F endorsement on a Driver's license.
Any other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate.
Lead daily IOP groups
Conduct Individual & Family Therapy
Lead Family Night 1x/month
Contact & screen (A-COD) all referrals w/in 1 business day of call & set up intakes
Complete Assessments/Intakes w/in 5 days of referral
Complete Diagnosis assessment, treatment plans, d/c plans
Complete and track all Insurance information
Monitor referrals/group size/insurance/etc. to meet productivity standards
Complete Drug Screens as needed
Update census on weekly basis
Complete Progress/Clinician/Therapist/
Weekly Notes within acceptable Center timeframes
Submit monthly paperwork by prescribed deadline (billing sheets, etc.).
Transportation as needed.
Case management as needed.
Participates in weekly treatment team meetings/supervision.
Participates in court hearings, IEPs and other school related meetings as needed or as requested by families.
Provides therapeutic support and crisis intervention.
Upholds center policy and procedures, and CARF standards.
Completes other duties as assigned to meet program's therapeutic, administrative and funding requirements.
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Summary of role of team :

The purpose of this team is to provide intensive outpatient treatment to adolescents ages 13-18 who have a co-occurring disorder and provide intensive case management and care coordination for clients enrolled in IOP or continuing care/recovery services.
The goal of the program is to improve/increase the education and promote a drug free lifestyle to adolescents and their families.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT

This position typically operates in Knoxville based office and provides services in the counties where the clients live.
The Specialist may interface, but not limited to, schools, courts, state agencies and referral sources.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Care

Plans and facilitates daily IOP.
Conduct screenings and all referrals within 1 business day/ set up intakes.
Complete assessments within 5 days of referral/diagnosis assessment.
Complete and track all insurance information.
Communicates with referral sources and parents about start date, progress, & projected completion date.
Complete treatment plans within 3 days of face-to-face contact/aftercare/ discharge plans.
Schedule individual therapy session within first 2 weeks of treatment, if not in therapy.
Schedule at least one family therapy session during the first 4 weeks of treatment.
Assist in obtaining UDS on ReDirections clients.
Assist in arranging transportation or transporting clients when needed.
Ensure that clients are supervised at all times during the program hours.
Administrative

Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with Center Policy and Procedure and funding source guidelines.
Complete all related paperwork in accordance with P&P and funding guidelines (i.e. screenings, assessments, progress notes, tx plans, discharge plans, etc.).
Complete progress notes weekly and submits all documentation in a timely manner.
Complete Narrative Treatment Plan Reviews for assigned clients.
Maintain census to ensure productivity standards.
Maintain and monitor outcome measures to ensure quality and effectiveness.
Professionalism/Professional Development

Exhibits accountability for assigned responsibilities.
Responds to all flags, emails and voicemails within 1-2 business day.
Attends and is on time for treatment team meeting weekly.
Attends and engages in staff development activities as requested by supervisor.
Flexibility/Adaptability

Accepts additional duties as assigned.
Communication & Relationships

Attends supervision regularly to communicate any problems and give/receive feedback openly
Maintains professional, respectful communication with co-workers, clients, and referral sources even when conflict arises.
COMPENSATION:

Starting salary for this position is approximately $48,900 /yr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule:

An essential job function is a reliable, predictable minimum of 40 hour per week job, on site and in the community, with regular attendance.
This position requires non-traditional hours as program is open during evening hours.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling.
Travel :

Must have an F endorsement, a valid Driver's License and current car insurance.
This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
Must be able to transport clients, if needed.
Must be able to go into the community to provide services.
Equipment/Technology :

Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in the electronic medical record.
This position requires a computer, phone and private office area.
QUALIFICATIONS - Knox Redirections Master's Level Clinician

Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field of study.
Knowledge of addiction and adolescent development is preferred.
This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
This position also requires that the employee has an F Endorsement on his/her Driver License to be available to transport individuals as needed.
Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking.
Physical de-escalation techniques will only be implemented at McNabb Center facilities, and not in community settings.

Experience / Knowledge :

Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
