Knuckle Boom

  The Knuckle Boom Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically knuckle boom loaders and front-end loaders, unload log trucks, cut logs to length, and transport materials to the sawmill. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a log yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate knuckle boom loader and front-end loaders.


• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery.

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with team members.


• Operate truck scale and ensure accurate weight recording for incoming log trucks.
